For plain dutch weave stainless steel wire mesh 304, warp wire diameter is larger than weft wire, and each warp wire passes alternately over and under each weft wire, as in normal plain weave. The wires are very close to each other and do not have a straight-through; filtration occurs when warp and weft join.
